Aircraft for Medical transportation services in the Philippines 2

Aircraft for Medical transportation services in the Philippines.
Aircraft used for transportation of medically unfit people may be in an emergency or non-emergency situation is called as an air ambulance. An air ambulance is an airplane of a business class, helicopter or aircraft those has been designed specially and is equipped with all the facilities to air transport a patient who requires urgent medical assistance, extensive care, a fast, safe method of transport that can cover a distance of more than 100 miles. The patients who are too sick, are weak and it is not possible for these people to endure the formalities of commercial flights.
The aircraft which are mostly used for medical transport of patient are fixed-wing- airplanes and rotor wing i.e. (helicopters). These modes of transport are preferred for patient repatriation across a long distance, maybe across different states or countries whereby ground ambulance facility is not viable or ineffective. In some cases the patient may be in a critical condition and time is a key factor to save the patient, in such cases, choppers/helicopters are often used to transport critical trauma patients which improves chances of survival.
Medical transport of patients via air has better advantages over ground transport, mainly it is a faster mode of transport due to the increased speed and mobility. Transport by road is greatly dependant on the condition of roads, availability of roads as there may be places where the vehicles may not be able to reach especially during natural calamities like floods whereby the roads and bridges get destroyed. Also, ground transport is limited by a factor like traffic which is a major challenge in today's cosmopolitan and metro cities. Ground transport travels much slower than air transport, especially when compared to fixed-wing aircraft. There are some limitations to the air transport mode. These disadvantages may be common to both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft, or specific to each type. The most important one being the cost to repatriate the patient hugely increases as it depends on several factors such as number of doctors, nurses, paramedics required for the transportation of the patient, type of aircraft, and the distance to be covered to transport the patient, weather condition can pose some restrictions at times, maintenance cost of the aircraft is very high as the buying cost of the machines itself runs in million dollars. Also, careful evaluation and plan to fly a patient from far off places is very important both in case of fixed wing and rotor air vehicles, consideration of the total weight is significant as some aircraft may have a single engine or multiple engines. Helicopters typically have either 1 or 2 engines. The helicopters with two engines can carry more people and travel at faster speeds. Having said that air transportation mode is a better option for transporting critical trauma patients because they are more effective in decreasing the time of transport to a trauma hospital. This is an important factor as for many critical trauma patients, the most important factor in decreasing mortality and getting them quickly to an operating room with a trauma surgeon. Helicopters have the advantage that they can land closer to the site of the accident or the location of the patient. In a nutshell, it is important to choose a service provider which has years of experience, qualified team and perfect success rate in the transportation of a patient globally.

Hi-Flying is one service provider in the field of air transportation of the patient from across the globe. They have catered their services close to 25 years and the staff and crew have years of experience of repatriating patients of the following nature and many more similar cases.
Patients those require active airway assistance beyond the administration of oxygen.
A person whose heart rate is greater than 120 without radial pulse or systolic blood pressure is less than 90, was also repatriated under the intensive care of an expert team.
Patient with second or third-degree burns was carried safely to the hospital by their expert team of doctors.
A patient suffering from penetrating injury to his head, neck or torso excluding superficial wounds were being air transported in many cases.
The Road accident patients those who suffered from two or more long-bone fracture at the sites like (humerus,tibia/fibula, radius/ulna, femur)
The judgment of their paramedic and medical team have played pivotal in the deportation of patients suffering from paralysis, loss of sensation in certain body parts, or suspected spinal cord injury.
The Hi-Flying team has safely transported patient suffering from one long-bone fracture due to a motor vehicle collision or someone who had fallen down from a height greater than or equal to 10 feet.
Also, patients were airlifted and transferred to health-care centers who were being ejected or thrown out from any vehicle during accidents and have suffered severe injuries.

The geographical challenges of Philippines are enormous. The country is made up of several islands(there are about 7000 islands) which is of mostly of volcanic origin, mountains, narrow coastal plains. Many islands are mostly covered by tropical rain forests. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao are the largest islands, and are the financial hub of the country. The Philippines is situated at the confluence of the South China Sea, the Indonesian coastal lands, the Philippine Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
The Philippines forms the outer edge of maritime Southeast Asia, and for much of its modern history has served as a gateway between western powers and continental Asia.
Luzon, with the country’s capital in Manila, is the political, cultural and economic core of modern Philippines. It is highly urbanized relative to the rest of the country, boasts a large port and deep harbor. Due to the scattered geography, travel by road and reaching out to patient during critical condition imposes a major challenge.
A group of tourists from Singapore went to tour the Philippines. Due to flash floods, the troop got trapped, they somehow manage to reach on the top floor of a three-storey building and remain stuck. Back home their families were in deep worry. They called Hi-Flying air ambulance services to rescue their family members. The group comprised of 4 members. The team discussed their plans of rescuing the members by using a helicopter which will be the most feasible and convenient option of rescuing the group. In emergency conditions like this, Hi-Flying services also extend their evacuation services. As in such cases, the Government bodies also arrange for rescue operation but due to limitation and unavailability of resource at times, it may not be possible to rescue people personally. In such cases, whereby the family members are worried for their near and dear ones, these private services prove to be beneficial and saves on time to rescue the people and can also bring back people with uttermost safety. In some cases, the person may be trapped in a life-threatening condition and these services act as a life savior for the people.
The Hi-flying team managed to reach the patient within 2-3 hours of locking the case and rescued all the four members by using their chopper. All four members arrived in Singapore safely and were reunited with their families. Their nightmare ended upon reaching their hometown and all of them had praises for the best service provided by the team of Hi-Flying.
