病人会安置在特设的担架上，该担架一如乘客座位，系稳于机舱地上，并附设床垫、床单、枕头、毛毯和安全带装置。担架底座内则放有7000公升氧气、真空抽吸机、空气压缩机(把呼吸机内的氧气混和空气)和电流变频器(供应电力予一切救生医疗设备)。所有医疗设备均装有内置后备电池。
